The 34-year-old joined the Warriors before the 2012-2013 season and started 230 regular season games over four seasons with the team. He won one championship with them in 2015 before going over seas, but now returns with more title aspirations. His best season with them saw him average seven points and 10 rebounds in the 2013-2014 campaign. There is also a familiar face near the top for Bogut in assistant general manager Larry Harris, who drafted him first overall in the 2005 NBA Draft while he was the GM of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed the news that the Warriors have been in talks with Bogut, but reassured that no deal is done. Kevin Durant claimed he has full confidence in any move the front office makes, including this one, and said of his former and future teammate "we're looking forward to having him on the team."
