In the end, it was a 12-yard touchdown pass from Deondre Francois to Nyquan Murray with 36 seconds left, giving FSU a thrilling 33-32 win Friday night. Dalvin Cook was on display in Miami, running for 145 yards and a score, as both teams end the year at 10-3. The Seminoles got out to a 20-6 halftime lead, as Francois finished with 222 yards and two touchdowns, both to Murray. The Wolverines turned the ball over in their final possession to seal their fate, as the two teams combined for 23 points in the final 5:22.
Harden Records 7th Triple-Double in Rockets Win
The Houston Rockets looked impressive on Friday night, handling the Los Angeles Clippers with ease, 140-116, at home. James Harden led the way with his seventh triple-double of the season, finishing with 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. It is also Harden's third straight 30-point game, while Montrezl Harrell had a career-high 29 points in Houston's third straight win. The Rockets had a 25-point lead early in the game get cut down to six, but pulled away in the end to improve to 25-9, including 12-3 at home. The game also saw Clippers head coach, Doc Rivers, get ejected for arguing the ejection of his son, Austin Rivers.
Durant Records First Triple-Double With Warriors
Kevin Durant has been the key offensive component for the NBA's best Golden State Warriors, and he added to that fact on Friday night. Durant finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists for his first triple-double with Golden State in a 108-99 win over the Dallas Mavericks. It was Durant's eighth career triple-double and first since December 2015 with the Thunder against the Hawks. Klay Thompson had 29 points, including 17 in the third, while Steph Curry added 14 in the win. In the first quarter, Curry passed Purvis Short for seventh on the all-time Warriors scoring list. Harrison Barnes finished with 25 points for Dallas against his former team.
