Mariota is the former second overall pick out of Oregon, only behind Jameis Winston to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Florida State in 2015. Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is a known fan of Mariota, which was shown during his QB Camp while he was still working with ESPN.
The former Oregon Ducks quarterback was the starter for the Titans for a while, even leading them to a playoff spot in 2017, where they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round. He started his 2019 season with a 2-4 record through six weeks, which handed the job over to Tannehill. Over five NFL seasons, Mariota has 13,207 passing yards, 76 touchdowns, and 44 interceptions.
