The New England Patriots lost a major weapon with the retirement of tight end Rob Gronkowski last month, but they are doing their best to move on with the process this off-season. They did just that on Tuesday afternoon, adding veteran wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on a one-year contract. This move comes just one week after the defending Super Bowl champions hosted Thomas on a free agent visit. The 31-year-old will be the latest veteran receiver to join Brady and the Pats, which seems to be the trend over the past couple years.

The Texans ended up in the playoffs as the AFC South Champions, but they were eliminated in the first round by the Indianapolis Colts.
