QB Tony Romo had 3 touchdown passes in the win that ran the Cowboys' record to 6-1, coming off a win over Super Bowl champion Seattle last week. It is their best start since beginning the season 6-1 in 2007, the year they finished 13-3. They were the top seed in the NFC, but fell to the Giants in the first playoff game.
Romo was 17/23 for 279 yard and an interception, and had a late TD pass taken away on a replay. WR Dez Bryant finished the game with a season-high 151 yards receiving, while TE Gavin Escobar had his first 2-TD game. Dan Bailey also added a 49-yard field goal late in the 4th.
Giants' QB Eli Manning had 3 TD passes, as the Giants fell to 3-4 on the season. They have two 2-game losing streaks on either side of a 3-game winning streak. They go in to a bye week under .500, and will host the Indianapolis Colts November 3rd on Monday Night Football. The 1st place Cowboys will be on Monday Night Football next week, playing host to the 2-5 Washington Redskins.
