They recorded their highest point total since 2002, and tied the 1995-96 team's 27-game winning streak, which ended with an NCAA title that season.
Despite surpassing 100 points in the preseason, the Wildcats have not scored at least 110 points since December 30th, 2002. It was the first time surpassing 100 points in an SEC-game since a 101-70 win over Arkansas on January 23rd, 2010. They also scored 120 points on February 7th, 1996 against Vanderbilt.
Dakari Johnson contributed 13 points for Kentucky, Andrew Harrison 12, Devin Booker 11, and Tyler Ulis 10. The Wildcats finished shooting a season-high 65 percent from the field, including outscoring the Tigers 62-24 in the paint. They also outrebounded Auburn 44-22 and tied a season high with 25 assists.
Antoine Mason had 29 points, including 5 three-pointers for the Tigers, who lost for the 8th time in 11 games. K.T. Harrell added 17 points, as the Tigers finished 11-of-19 from beyond the arc.
