Out of all the wins that the Kentucky Wildcats have recorded, Saturday's win over the Auburn Tigers may have been the most convincing. The top-ranked Wildcats dominated the Tigers from start to finish in a 110-75 win. The victory runs their perfect record to 27-0.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wildcats with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Aaron Harrison added 18 points, as Kentucky had 6 players score in double figures. They recorded their highest point total since 2002, and tied the 1995-96 team's 27-game winning streak, which ended with an NCAA title that season.
Despite surpassing 100 points in the preseason, the Wildcats have not scored at least 110 points since December 30th, 2002. It was the first time surpassing 100 points in an SEC-game since a 101-70 win over Arkansas on January 23rd, 2010. They also scored 120 points on February 7th, 1996 against Vanderbilt.
