Georgia running back, and Heisman favorite, Todd Gurley has been suspended indefinitely for alleged violation of NCAA rules. The investigation continues on whether or not Gurley was illegally given money for autographs, or memorabilia. Nothing is certain just yet, as investigators are looking in to autographed jerseys that Gurley could have received money for.
The 13th ranked Bulldogs will face No. 23 Missouri this Saturday in an SEC East game. Georgia needs some key wins in the conference to get themselves back in to the playoff picture. Gurley lead the Bulldogs with 773 rushing yards, 8 touchdowns, and 8.2 average yards per carry. Gurley not only is hurting opponents fro the backfield, but also has 11 receptions, and a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Gurley is coming off a 163 yard game against Vanderbilt, and also threw a 50-yard pass in the game. The Heisman favorite leads the SEC with 154.6 yards per game, and second nationally with 194.6 all-purpose yards.
