As if the Arizona Coyotes' season wasn't already on a downhill slope, the team received bad news Tuesday night. The Coyotes will be without young star, Max Domi, as he is out indefinitely following surgery on his hand. The team does expect him to return this season.
The injury reportedly occurred during a fight last Thursday with Garnet Hathaway of the Calgary Flames.
There is no official timetable for the return of the star that had a stellar rookie season last year. The 21-year-old had 18 goals and 34 assists in his first year in the league. So far this season, he has put up five goals and 11 assists in 26 games.
His team fared well in their first game without him Tuesday night, getting past the Detroit Red Wings on the road, 4-1.
