Humphries is coming off the fifth and final season of his rookie contract, and has been very productive after overcoming a tough rookie season. The big man did not play a snap during his rookie campaign due to numerous injuries, Although, he took a major step in 2019, which was his first NFL season that he played in all 16 games.
Injuries have been a major factor of his career, as he only played in double digit games one other season, and that was 2016. Despite that, the team relied on him this past season after drafting Murray last April, giving Humphries his $9.63 million option. He will hope to stay healthy with the mighty task of protecting the former Louisville Cardinal quarterback that loves to use the entire field with his feet.
