In Kansas City, Ogbah will be added for depth on the Chiefs' defensive line, where Breeland Speaks and Alex Okafor already hold spots. The 25-year-old was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and has 12.5 sacks over three NFL seasons. He started all 40 games that he played for the Browns, including 14 games this past season, where he recorded three sacks and 40 tackles.
This move once again give Browns general manager John Dorsey another familiar face, as he was the Chiefs GM when Murray was drafted in the fourth round in 2016. The safety appeared in 15 games this past season, including nine starts, and had an interception, two passes defended, and 55 tackles. Over three seasons with the Chiefs, he made 45 appearances, including 11 starts, as he will take over the roster spot held by Derrick Kindred, who was waived by the Browns on Monday.
