Just when you thought the second Antonio Brown was released by the Oakland Raiders and signed with the Super Bowl favorite New England Patriots that his story would be focused on football, think again. The former Pittsburgh Steeler has not even played a game with his latest team and there is already drama, as the wideout has been accused of rape. The accusation comes from his former trainer, Britney Taylor, as the lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.
Taylor accuses Brown of sexually assaulting her on two separate occasions, one in 2017 and another time in 2018. The 2017 incident includes the wide receiver exposing himself and kissing her without consent. That took place at one of his homes in the Pittsburgh areas. The other incident came in May of 2018, as Taylor went back to Brown's house for some food and to use the bathroom after a night at the club, but he allegedly "forced her down to the bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her."
Brown's lawyer has stated that Brown and Taylor were in a "consensual personal relationship" and that any sexual interaction was consensual. The former trainer on the other hand claims that she saw their relationship more of a brother-sister type connection. She claims that these incidents have her suffering from near-daily panic attacks and suicidal ideations. She is now seeking more than $75,000 in this case. The Patriots have not commented on this yet, and there is no word on how or if this will affect Brown's potential debut with them against the Miami Dolphin this Sunday.
